Before you attend: Access to ChatGPT is highly recommended, and attendees should bring a laptop if possible so they can follow along during the session.
What if you could turn ChatGPT into an assistant designed specifically for the work you do? In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to create a custom GPT by building a “Gain Attention Builder” based on Gagné’s first Event of Instruction. We’ll walk through the process together, from defining what you want your assistant to do to providing it with the instructions and resources it needs to generate useful, consistent results.
Along the way, I’ll share practical ChatGPT tips, techniques, and lessons learned from facilitating TSD’s AI and Instructional Development peer group. While we’ll use learning and development as our example, you can apply the process to a variety of roles and repetitive tasks. You’ll leave with a framework you can use to start building your own ChatGPT assistant.
